So I believe that the previous owner put the wrong water pump, in because I actually sat down and thought about it and the impeller design would need to turn it clock wise to make the fins work as they should, does that make sense?

our pumps turn counter clockwise for reverse rotation. did you ask for a pump for your car specifically when you got it. if not get the correct one.

Well you see, I work at orielly and I pulled it myself, I think we have a flaw in our system, because in 88the it list a different water pump, than a 1991.

that water pump spins clockwise. you need it to go the other way. the reason it is cooling in the evening is because it is cooler. and the faster you go the less it is able to move the water. it is cavitating.

Okay so new problem, I found one with the correct counter clockwise fins but the part where the pulley bolts on is wrong. So my question is if any of you guys replaced your water pumps where did you go for it and what vehicle did you ask for because I can't find the right one

the only thing i can say is look up one that has a vbelt on it. maybe 84-87 those are for sure clockwise. maybe i am thinking about it backwards. cause the fan on my alternator is turning in a way that would agree with the water pump pics. i suppose as i study more. that would have to be right. if it spun in the other direction it would suck the water to the middle. that has to be right. damn. so you do have the right one. 1. airdamn is in--check 2. air in the system--need to check 3. change the antifreeze water amount. 4. check thermo for not opening enough. 5. do you have a return to the radiator.
