that is the yoke from my old steel driveshaft and the tranny was still full of fluid. found third gear clutches burned up and my overrun clutch drive hub worn. ended up having to order more parts. upon taking it all apart found a couple a good things. my pump was thicker than most pumps by about 1/4". I also already had hardened vanes and rings with almost no wear marks. my sunshell had the big windows and was thicker where the teeth were. and the rear planetary had a slinger on it like the vett's had. we modded the boost valve spool, 2-4 servo washer, and installed all parts above. also modded the governor with a recalibration kit. brought the tranny home. lifted the engine and removed the pan, timing cover, rear seal, and oil pump. installed a new oil pump, timing chain, seals and gaskets. installed the tranny. set the tv cable and went for a ride. wow!!!!!!!! had to set the cable a couple a times to get it just right. she shifts quicker but real smooth until you get into it and she shifts really nice with a good bump. have put 220 miles on her so far with no problems or any leaks.
