i have the longtubes. they are headman. they have the ball flange on them and i have the collectors already. do you bend the pipe or fab with pieces? the step will be about 3 feet of pipe--2 1/4 X2 to a 3" catback pipe.

Carlos, the 5.3 canes as a complete pull out, harness to tail shaft and yeah I know your the ls wizard on here and ill most likely hit you up depending on the price of the engine.
But my plans are to just get one drop it in and drive hopeless for a few weeks till I get the proper ls6 Intake, I.jectors, and injectors connectors and a bracket to lower the altanator

Same price man. I will match it. Plus any other odds and ends u need. Such as throttle cable. U can reuse a sbc/tpi alyernator that is shorter. U should b able to use the truck driveshaft. Just need shorten it. I will throw it in. I also got a ls1 car radiator and efans. Which u will need. But those are not included in price of pullout. Lmk

I dont see why most people dont do this swap. It's not much higher than a deviate sbc unless it involves a t56

I bend the metal. Start from 4ft aluminzed(exhaust) tubing. Bend and cut to fit. Finish with hi temp paint. To prevent corrosion. Exhaust places never coat or paint when they work on your car. I do. Paint before reinstall. Also use wrap for turbo parts and paint before wrap. My uncle is a dealer for turbonetics. But i will also use on3 or mp turbos if so requezted. I also bend all the cold side and roll beads in the tubing. I use to fabricate diesel turbo exhausts and cold sides at my uncles diesel shop.

U will need a fcar 4l60e tailshaft housing for tq arm mount or use a jegster tunnel mount tq arm mount. I reccomend the tunnel mount bracket tq arm. Or if u can find an fcar tailahaft housing

I kid.i kid. But ya i can knock it out fairly quick. But a efi ls motor will make same or more power n/a and way better mpg.lol I guess you could convert to tpi efi. Lot of guys on tgo claim, 9,10,11 sec rides with tpi efi system. Ive yet to see any 10sec or 9sec with a tpi efi system. Im sure they may be out there. But what i have seen is bunch quick ls cars and trucks with stock tuned efi

Yrah I have thought about that too, I would end up using a welbro 2055(tpi fuel pump?) my stick fuel lines and buy a reglator

Yea. A inline walbro or trick flow 255 pump and a c5 fpr/filter. Unless you plan on a return fuel system. The inline/c5 fpr is gonna be your easiest to install,less plumbing, most ecenomical and work correct with stock efi ls fuel pressure. Pump is likee 100$. Fpr for c5 bout 50$. Line and fittings bout nother 100$.

I think I'm going to wait on my engine & fix up the interior. That way I can get enough money together to drop an LS engine then Turbo it! NemeSS drilled the turbo LS idea in my head for a good 30min when I went to pick up the tail-lights so now its all I can f'n think about when I think about getting an engine!

Go look up all the vids on utube of turbo ls motors. Go on the forced induction section on tech. lit of examples. Folks putting down seruous hp on stockish longblocks. 500-600hp to the wheels is no thing wirh a tc turbo ;D
