Well to start off I'm my name is Foster and iv been on the TGO boards for 3 years now and I just got to this one as of right now I own and drive a 91 formulawith a dented ass and ttops that's all beat up with an engine that's about to poop out on me soon because of my new job which is about 100 miles daily.
I'm in debait with myself to either drop in a rebuilt 350 which will run me $1600 or get a complete 5.3 pull harness to oil pan which is $1600 as well + the extra $ for conversion parts. I know it wont fit under my hood (is it illegal to dri e without a hood?)

You do not have too run the truck intake with the truck offset pulley. There are a few ways to run truck pulley and the ls1 intake. The truck bracket will use ur alternator and the ps pump is very easy to adapt to 3rd gen gear box. Anyone who told you, cant use truck parts and car intake is very misinformed If you go by the tgo guideline. It is very basic. There is much info left out.

Yea. Im gearing up for swaps, build engines and custom turbo fabrication and full exhaust. I can build the full long tube exhaust for about the same the hawks headers run. But in steel. selling my trans am will free up extra funds to purchase equipment i use to have and i sold. When i stopped doing ls related labor.

I make the lt headers from 1 5/8 to 2in. If they fit in the car. Vband or 3bolt flanges. Or if u bring your headers. I will make the exhaust any routing u wish. Pricing depend on metal used,finish,fastening.etc. I use to do this a while back. Dealt mostly with tech members. 95% ls related. But also can do custom sbc stuff
