My fan has retired after 25 long years of service, should'nt it get some kind of check in the mail for that?hehehe
I'm workinig on getting this taken care of, I will do it Tuesday for sure. It should be an easy fix, I will let you guys how it goes.

remember what i told you about those. also i did some digging. www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19go down to 87 tuneport. looks as though your fan is ecm controlled. turn on the a/c and see if it comes on. if so the fan is good. also check the fan relay.

Pull the fan and check the motor with a battery charger. If it turns its something else if nit replace it and reinstall it for your prob is done...hopefully. if its like my car its never done

I replaced the fan motor,CTS sensor & fan relay & the fan still does not come on.
I don't seem to have a fan control switch, whats left?

The fan doesn't use the cts sensor. It uses its own switch next to the cts

not sure lol. but it's a two wire switch and has a rectangular connector where as the cts has an oval connector. Did you test for 12 volts constant at the fan relay?

your cooling fan temp switch is in the passenger side head between the rear cylinders. run a wire to the connector to the negative side of the battery and see if the fan comes on. or bring it here and i will fix it for you.
